The lab. Repairing tech in Mullingar since 2009.
Trace Lab is the data recovery and board repair bench of Creative IT, an independent repair workshop on Castle Street in Mullingar, Ireland.
- Free initial assessment
- No data, no recovery fee
- Fixed price before any work
- Dead phones and MacBooks too
Why Trace Lab exists
We set up Trace Lab because more and more of the devices that come in dead are also where someone's only copy of their photos, their thesis or their business records lives. Getting the device working and getting the data back are now the same job.
Who does what
On our bench in Mullingar: logical recoveries (deleted, formatted, corrupted), electronic faults on drives, and every board-level repair on phones, laptops and MacBooks.
With our specialist cleanroom partner: hard drives that need to be opened (heads, motors, platters). We tell you before a drive goes there, we handle the shipping, and we stay your single point of contact.
What happens to your data
- We open files only as far as needed to check the recovery worked.
- Nothing is shared, sold or kept.
- Working copies are deleted once you confirm you have everything.
- NDA available for business, legal and medical work.
