What we collect

When you use our form, call, email or WhatsApp us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, country, the device and the problem you describe. When you send us a device, we also handle your return address.

Why

To answer your enquiry, assess and repair your device, send it back, and keep the records we need for warranty and accounting. The legal basis is taking steps to enter into and perform a contract with you, and our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

Our repair management system, our email provider, and the courier that returns your device. For physical data recovery that needs a cleanroom, the device goes to our specialist cleanroom partner in the United Kingdom under a confidentiality agreement; the UK is covered by an EU adequacy decision. We do not sell your data.

Data on your device

We do not browse the files on your device. For data recovery we only open files as far as needed to verify the recovery, and we delete our working copies once you confirm you have everything.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become a repair: up to 12 months. Repair and invoice records: as long as Irish tax law requires (currently six years).

This site does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first and update this notice.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by contacting us at the address above. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) or the supervisory authority in your own country.
