How to pack it
- Start your free assessment first, so we know it is coming and can match it to you when it arrives.
- Add a note inside with your name, email, phone number and a line about the fault.
- Wrap it well: bubble wrap, and a sturdy box with at least 5 cm of padding on every side. Remove cases and SIM cards.
- Drives: in an anti-static bag if you have one. Never post a hard drive loose in an envelope.
- Wet devices: do not seal a wet phone in plastic. Switch it off, dry the outside and send it straight away.

Ask for a courier collection when you start your assessment, or post it with An Post Tracked or any tracked courier.
Any tracked, insured service. Ireland is in the EU single market, so there is no customs paperwork.
No data, no recovery fee
If we can't recover the files you need, you don't pay for the recovery.
The initial assessment is always free. If a separate in-depth diagnostic is needed, we quote it first and it is only payable if you approve it. If we then can't recover the files you told us matter, there is no recovery fee and we return your device; you pay only the return postage.
Shipping, customs and cancelling
Who pays for shipping?
You send it to us. Return shipping is included in your written quote, so the price you approve is the price you pay. If you decide not to go ahead, we send it back for the cost of return postage.
Which courier should I use?
Any tracked service. For anything you couldn't replace, pay for insurance. In Ireland we can book a courier to collect from your door.
Do I need customs forms from the EU?
No. Ireland is in the EU single market, so there is no customs paperwork for devices sent from other EU countries.
Which countries do you accept?
Ireland, Northern Ireland and every EU country. UK and elsewhere: contact us first so we can check the paperwork.
How do I pack a hard drive?
In an anti-static bag if you have one, wrapped in bubble wrap, in a box with at least 5 cm of padding on every side. Never loose in an envelope.
How long will it take?
Allow 1 to 3 days in transit within Ireland and 2 to 6 days from elsewhere in the EU, plus the recovery time for your job. We email you when it arrives and when it ships back.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any point before you approve the quote. Under EU consumer law you can also cancel a distance contract within 14 days. When you approve a quote we ask you to confirm you want the work started straight away. See our terms.
